We have a lady here in Cape May County who does a fantastic job on deer, Yes I can do and do it well. But she will make chip steak cut super thin (like the stuff used for philly cheese steaks). So every year I try to get a deer to her for that purpose no steaks no chops all chip and ground. It makes for some quick and easy recipes.
Vennison Pepper Steak
1.5lbs chip steak
2 red bell peppers
1 whole sweet red onion sliced
2 tsp garlic powder
Janes Crazy Salt to taste
1tsp paprika
white pepper to taste
1 tbsp of beef base
about a cup of water.
Slice your onions
Slice your Peppers
Slice your chip steak into long strips
Brown your onions in 2 tbsp of oil
Add Meat strips stir gently so you do not break them up
Add Peppers
Add beef base to water and mix through
Cove pan and let peppers just slightly cook so they have a crunch still to them.
Mashed potatos
Peel and cut up Yukon Gold Pots.
Sour cream
Margarine
touch of milk
Garlic Powder
Janes Crazy Salt to taste
white pepper
touch of parmesan cheese
Finished product ready to Enjoy
