TWO BUCK CHUCK
Just recently tried these wines out from Trader Joes
and i will say not bad selection for 2-4 bucks per bottle
There is some history on these wines , something to do with a divorce and the partner selling all the wine stocks for 2 or 3 bucks per bottle to try and ruin the husband .... not sure if it is true ????

Chum Nuts
Not sure about the story...does sound like a chick move though...you know what they say about a woman scorn
Seriously though, I'm not much of a wine-o but I have had it and it tasted pretty good...did the trick, which is all I really care about.

I saw something those wines on tv probably a year ago. I dont remember exactly why they were so cheap but it didnt have anything to do with a divorce. They are actually really well made wines at a great price. They should sell for 10-12/ bottle

It's so cheap because they buy surplus grapes. And Charles Shaw doesn't even own it. He went belly up in 1992. A guy named Bronco bought it, and the name. Contrary to all the urban legends, it's just a marketing ploy.
And the stuff really ain't all that good. Go get a Lindemann's Reserve if you want a $12 bottle of wine that's better than most $30 bottles.
