    Talking Thanks Glenn W............

About a month or so ago you posted up a post about hams. Well I went out and bought one and hung it up in my garage. It's been a little more than a month and this thing is driving me crazy. I have to look at it every day thinkin how good it's gonna taste a year from now.... It is drivin me bananas. How in the hell do you look at that thing for a year without tearin it down and cookin it up? Now, I keep thinkin if this thing is half as good as Glenn said it's gonna be, there is no way I am gonna be able to wait another year to have it again. I'm American for Pete's sake! So I went and bought another one today and hung it up. Now I have 2 of them staring me in the face.....

    Problem solved I think.....

I'm with ya bro--- just this past weekend I thought about raiding one of my hams hanging and aging--- the only thing that stopped me from soaking it up was that it is just me and SWMBO at home this week and most of it would end up going to waste.
Just keep remembering that it will be worth the wait---Shit that's like something my mother would have told me when I was a kid--- may just cook one up this Sunday

What do I look like a Chemist?--- shit,I don't know. Just hang the damn thing in your garage or barn and come back in 6 mths to a year.
Damn Yankees could make anything complicated
Seriously, send me a PM and I will be happy to buy you one and send it to you. They're running about $1.70 to $1.80 a pound right now (Smithfield brands are about $2.00) average weight is about 14-16lbs. Ground shipping ain't much--- $6 or $8?
Oh, you're on your own for obtaining Collard Greens to go with it.
