delicacy? because its unusual maybe, not because it has a unique flavor. in fact except for the fact it discolors the pasta i still dont get it. reminds me of the movie where the guy pisses in his ex- wives chicken soup. it still looked the same, but i bet the flavor was a lot more dramatic than squid ink.but when the tuna dont bite i'll take all the squid i can catch. cleaned.

Not much flavor difference in squid inked pasta that I have tried - or was there? The best pasta dish I ever had was at a resturant in Isla Mujeres called Nu Balam (i think) right down the street from Cabanes Maria del mar. It was a black squid ink pasta was prawns in garlic.
But everyone knows I am a simple man when it comes to cullinary tastes. I will take any ole thing on a bun, with some mustard, ketchup and relish. Made this beauty up for Capt Sylvain on the way home from a great day of marlin fishing on the Espadon. There is squid ink in there somewhere

No Mayo Bill?![]()
That would be typical Bill wouldnt it? Bread, condiments, no meat. Except the bread would be 2 months old. Wash it down with a hot coke that had been cooled and heated 100 times over the past year. Yum.
