delicacy? because its unusual maybe, not because it has a unique flavor. in fact except for the fact it discolors the pasta i still dont get it. reminds me of the movie where the guy pisses in his ex- wives chicken soup. it still looked the same, but i bet the flavor was a lot more dramatic than squid ink. but when the tuna dont bite i'll take all the squid i can catch. cleaned.

Not much flavor difference in squid inked pasta that I have tried - or was there? The best pasta dish I ever had was at a resturant in Isla Mujeres called Nu Balam (i think) right down the street from Cabanes Maria del mar. It was a black squid ink pasta was prawns in garlic.

But everyone knows I am a simple man when it comes to cullinary tastes. I will take any ole thing on a bun, with some mustard, ketchup and relish. Made this beauty up for Capt Sylvain on the way home from a great day of marlin fishing on the Espadon. There is squid ink in there somewhere

That would be typical Bill wouldnt it? Bread, condiments, no meat. Except the bread would be 2 months old. Wash it down with a hot coke that had been cooled and heated 100 times over the past year. Yum.
