Ok, I'm also going to write in a smaller font size and in gray so it's hard to read. I was using hardwood charcoal. At least I think that's what it is, I had no idea what "kingsford briquets" were. Whats up with those regular shaped charcoal briquets?

Brother Jer, the grill looks great! Thanks for posting the pictures. Cooking over a wood fire is one of my favorite past times. I imagine that would be the "caveman" in me?
Geoff, white oak and cherry is what I (Lill' Biscuit actually) was burning yesterday. You are welcome to do grill duty any time.
I can only dream of the day that you and Jer do the roasting and Marty and I do the "feeding"
