    Shrimp Cevechie

    Ingredients:

    1. 1 Pound of shrimp cut into 3/4 to 1" pieces
    2. 7 limes and 1 lemon
    3. 1 Red Bell Pepper
    4. 1 Red onion
    5. Fresh Cilantro
    6. 3 Jalapeno peppers
    7. Pair of latex gloves(for use when dicing up peppers)
    8. Some fresh Pineapple(I like because it takes some of bitterness away)
    9. Worstershire sauce
    10. 1 Tomato
    11. Tostada shells
    12. Shredded lettuce
    13. 1 Avacado
Squeeze juice from lemon and Limes into a bowl and add shrimp. Finely dice up peppers, tomato, cilantro, onion and pineapple and add to bowl. Add teaspoon or so of Worstershire to mix. Put in refrigerator in plastic container with lid for about 1/2 hour.

Serve on plate with tostada shell on bottom followed by shredded lettuce and top with cevechie(strain juice before putting on lettuce). You can dress it up by adding some grated cheese and thin slices of avacado to the top. I also do the same recipie with Mahi or grouper.
Forgot to take picture of finished product on the plate. I will take another picture next time I make it. you can usually eat on it for a couple of days

I made a little ceviche this weekend using your recipe. It turned out really good but I added a little bit of raw sugar to tone down the limes sourness after a taste-test. It was awesome though. thanks for posting the recipe!!!

looks really good. if i may add a bit of constructive criticism, try backing off the number of limes a bit, maybe down to 3-4 limes and possibly 1/2 a lemon. then strain it out so as there isnt so much juice. I also like to throw a dash of crystal's or texas pete hot sauce into the mix instead of a jalapeno.
