    Rainy Sunday B & B Feast

Rainy sunday with the redskins losing and Jen putting decorations on the christmas tree had me and Nico thinking hard in the kitchen. Saturday we smoked a couple of bluefish and wanted to do something with it. We also had some bluefin that we caught with the crew of the Darlin on friday so it was sushi time. Here is what we made.

    Smoked Bluefish Pate'
Prosciutto stuffed with Spicey Bluefin Tuna Mousse
    Fathead Stuffed Red Pepper Roll
    Tuna Rolls
    Bluefin Tuna Sashimi

For desert made a Tiramisu that we be gone in a few minutes. Good thing the redskins were losing or else we would have proably had grilled cheese and tomato soup.

    FERRY??

Couldn't determine if the ferry was running on Sunday. I think it's closed during Redskin games..else I'd have crashed the sushi party in Tyaskin......

You guys gotta try this Priscutto stuffed with a spicy bluegin tuna mousse.

It was a colossal screw up on my part. Jen loves spicy tuna rolls. Very simple - cut up tuna in like tiny pieces and mix in Oriental chilli sauce. Done simple and good. Well I was feelin lazy and nico had the food processor out for the tiramisu. So I clean it and put the tuna and chilli paste and turned it on. Jen hated it - she said it had the consistancy of baby food. So I was going to throw it away when I thought what if I add a pickle and some heavy cream and threw it back in the processor for another 30 second. Then put a dollop of that nasty looking crap on a piece of priscutto and rolled it up. But it in the over for about 15 minutes on 400 degrees. Holy Julia Childs Batman - This stuff was awesome! Going up to the deli to get some more priscutto for tonight
