Roaster Chickens go on sale pretty regularly and they are relativly simple to throw together for a family meal and the whole meal can be done for around 10 bucks
Family sitting down together to eat is super important at my house, Not that we always have anything deep to say but my kids know we are there for them if they need us and they can talk if they need to. Kids eating in the other room and TV's on don't happen here. Even if my wife works late I still sit and eat with the girls.
