MMMMMM..... Salsa!
Mercado Green Salsa,
12 Tomatoes (Romas if available)
1 15oz can jalapeņos
15 fresh jalapenos
1 large onion, finely minced/processed
3 fresh cilantro bunches
3/4 cup of minced/processed garlic
2 cans 6oz of El Paso green Chile
2 cans 15oz tomato sauce
2 table spoons of salt (salt to taste)
1/4 cup lemon juice
All contents should be diced by food processor and placed in Tupperware
container for long preservation.* You may very the amounts of the
ingredients to suit your taste, but it is usually pretty spicy the first
couple of days.* It makes about 3 quarts of salsa.* If you keep it in
Tupperware sealed and dish out the amount you intend to eat, then it will
hold for about 6 - 8 weeks.*
