This isn't so much a recipe but I always shy away from the longfin fillets when cutting them up and usually bag them up to give away to friends. I keep the YFT. I have never really liked LFT as steaks and used the long fin for tuna salad samiches.
Well I change my tune. After marinated in whatever you want or just plain....try a slab of butter over top of that tuna steak fresh off the grill so it melts all over the piece....I know butter on top of anything taste good. Well butter on top of LFT taste great !
