Longfin albacore for dinner

Took out a vaccum packed chunk of longfin albacore tuna - cut into 1" steaks - marinated in virgin olive oil - sprinkled on some Cavenders greek seasoning - put on the grill at 450 deg. until pink in the middle [ yes in 2" of snow] - add your favorate sides, fresh green beans, baked potatoe, and 1 table spoon of the Lobster House's light mustard [ on the tuna of course]. Absolutly delicious. Enjoy!

Austin

If you are talking about false albacore--Yuck! Long fin albacore show up off NJ late August into October. Most are 40 to 45 lb. I have caught them up to 65 lb. They have light meat almost white when cooked. Most people I know think they are better eating than YFT or BFT.
