How do you get burnt olive oil off

while getting ready to blacken some tuna steak I let too much time pass as I was heating up olive oil in a pan then found it sperated and burnt onto a stainless skillet and very hard to remove.
How does it come off?

no scrub pad

dont use scrub pad, it will cause grooves that will cause food to stick. Yes, even with stainless and stick free.

Try this. Oven off...spray it and leave it outside where the sun can bake it..make sure animals wont be able to lick at. Worked for me.

Oven off and steel wool. Get the pan hot on the stove then spray it Easy Off let it cool and take the steel wool to it. I love my Stainless Steel pans I dont believe in non stick.

we, my wife, tried the oven off, it almost got everything but the edges of the burnt on oil. She told me it's my turn to apply elbow grease and work on cleaning it. I grab a scour pad and cut round 2 pieces the size of a quarter and attached to a rotary tool, like a Dremel, set it to low and cleaned it all off. It did leave marks behind but it's still smooth and usable. The bottom of the pan is stained a copper/brass from the heat, I never touched it with the pad.
