    Grilled Venison Steak

Okay, this may not seem too fancy or anything like that but the family (including myself) loved our dinner last night and it's been a while since someone posted something here.

Marinate venison steaks in Stubbs Beef Marinate for an hour or 2.
Grill meat (no more then medium, rare to medium/rare preferred)
    Slap meat on plate
    Serve

I usually make my own marinate - but the Stubbs Beef Marinate really works well with venision. I like their pork and chicken marinates as well. Anyone else ever trys Stubbs? Good stuff.

I just rub venison steaks with some olive oil and dash a little salt and throw more pepper on the downside first, and then the top when it is sitting in my cast iron pan.

Then I flip it. I will try the marinating idea though.

I have been serving venison chops over spring mix with a hunk of cheese and a little balsamic vinegarette.

    Mrs. Capt-D, Liam and Avery!
Sikorski turned me onto Dales this past weekend when he cooked up some duck breasts on the grill. I plan on trying it on some deer steaks this weekend!

    Yummy!
