Grill Update!!

This is the continuation of my initua thread showing the construction of a babecue smoker to roast a pig for my sons first birthday.

All this for a little pig picking!!!

Well here are some more pics of the progress on the grill/smoker. The grill portion is done with the exception of finishing the counterweight. Note that I am adding about 30 lbs to the end of the 2" lever arm in the middle of the grill.

Next up is the construction of the smoking box and finishing out the trailer.

Work of art D!
That should be one fantastic pig roasting birthday bash for your boy.
Have you decided on the BBQ style? May I suggest Eastern NC?

Nick,

I'm going for three sauces to meet everyone's needs.

1. Carolina (recipe compliments of Mr. Watkins)
2. Sweet (basically Open pit BBQ sauce as a base with a little added ingredients including honey)
3. Hot (I dont know what exactly is in it as a buddy makes it, but it can double as paint stripper, its that hot!)

Look like its gonna be a good time. You all are more than welcome if you find yourselves up in MD on June 30th. Mi Casa es Su Casa!
