A friend of mine would give all his geese to a local spanish restraunt and they would hook him up when he came in.

One day I went in there with him for some lunch. We had a couple of beers while looking at the menu and before we ordered anything they came out with a huge platter that looked to me like beef stew.

After I ate half my plate my buddy told me that this was a goose he shot the day before. I didn't believe him untill the cook came out of the kitchen and thanked him for the birds and ask him how he liked it.

It was just like beef stew with a brown gravy. MMMMMMMMMMMMM
Take 6 goose breasts and put them in a crockpot with 2 cans Campbells French Onion soup and 2 cans of Campbells Golden Mushroom soup . Add a diced onion and a pound of sliced mushrooms along with 2 cans of beef broth . Set on low and let cook for about 6 hours . The breasts should be falling apart by then . Remove them and cut up or pull apart and add back to the pot . Add about a pint of sour cream and cook for about another hour . Thicken it if needed with a couple tablespoons of corn starch mixed in a little broth . Tastes just like beef stroganoff . Serve over buttered egg noodles . Awesome !
