Crab RECIPES???
I am looking for some new crab recipes. I do then many different ways, with beer, oil, etc. My favorite was is a slow process but the results are great for the crabs and the pasta. What I do is get a heavy pot with lid that will hold about 8-10 crabs, but I first put canola oil, parsley (dried or fresh) FRESH minced garlic Old Bay, Maryland seasoning and a little Italian seasoning, stirring constantly keeping it from burning and sticking. I put this on low-medium heat to get it going. I then layer the crabs, a few at a time putting the same stuff on top but I also add a little salt and pepper and some crushed red pepper also. I keep that going shaking the whole pot every 2-3 mins until they are fully cooked. Then the sauce on the bottom is to die for with the garlic, oil and parsley (lots of parsley).
It really makes a nice dish with some garlic bread. Enjoy!! |
