cancer victim benefit
Hookers bait and tackle will hold a benefit fishing tournament Nov 11-18th. 2 species will be weighed. Bowfin and Catfish. On the 18th at 4 pm all the catfish weighed during the tournament will be will be cooked at the benefit for local firefighter who is battling cancer. There will be 2 kegs of beer for those that are of legal drinking age. As we all know firefighters are not on the list of the highest paid government employees. He is fighting for his life and needs your help. If you can volunteer to help cook or just help in any way please call 252-232-1474. For all rules governing the tournament please contact the number above. Even if you dont fish just come out on the 18th and make a small donation, enjoy fresh fried catfish and help out someone who may have saved your life or someone you know.
