Bill, there used to be a Brazilian Bar in Georgetown (Para---something)) that sold this sneaky little spirit. We used to go there alot in the College days and it must have been what the girls liked so much--- I remember a sweet lemon drink they would all get trashed on.

I learned to drink that stuff in DC also. There was a bar just outside of Georgetown called Brasil Tropical (I think). I am talking about when I was in college around 1988. The drink isn't the same unless you get your hands on the cachasa. There are a ton of brazilian stores and restaurant bars here in Pompano Beach, FL. I am sure you could get the stuff here. It can't be that tough.

BTW, Caipirinhas can peel the paint off a car! I had many, many a blurry night courtesy of those bad boys. Thanks for the memories.

Jer you are the man! There was this drink a girl gave me once back when i was in college. she was brazilian and we were at a bar in Newark NJ which is a big brazilian area.

Well i forgot the name of the drink and the girl
