    Anyone Deep fry a goose

    Having some peoples over for the superbowl and wanna try deep frying a goose like you do for turkeys. Anyone have any luck?

    D one of my buddies did a "Beer Can" goose and he said it came out great moist and tasty, I haven't done one yet but if you have a beer can chicken cooker it is worth a shot

    I used a butter/bacon marinate - store bought. It was pretty good. I think a red wine/worchester sauce based marinate might be better...

    Never tried deep frying might be pretty good. did alot of them in smoker stuck them in a bucket of apple juice over night then smoked them very good.

    Ditto here on the smoker, I have done ducks and geese. Never tried the apple juice but that sounds pretty good. I usually use a dry rub on them.

    teryaki breast kabobs

    Never had a deep fryed ,heres one we like
    Cut beasts into 1-2 in cubes ,marinade in teryaki sauce a few hrs,mix them with your fav kabob trimmings( pepper onion tomato etc)
