    any Fish Taco recipes??

ever since my wife and I went to San Diego last year for a fishing trip, my wife and I really liked the Fish Taco's we got from Pt Loma Seaford

we have been trying duplicate them but using a tortilla instead of taco shells, I guess we're doing them right but I'd like to hear of any other recpies you'll might have for them

also what kind of sauce, I make a spicy "tarter" sauce for mine but she uses a sweet chile sauce

    whatca' got, Im hungry

    Check this out....

I have a killer sauce that uses adobo sauce, lime and sour cream or yogurt I can't remember right now....Hopefully I have some tiles, grouper and or seabass to make some out of Sunday. The link is this...under fish taco platter....: I love me some fish tacos!... I added a little bit of the adobo sauce to the sour cream...think it might have been under someone else recommendation....the onions kick ass also...I nixed the salsa type recipe and opened a jar....
Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

OK, wife's back in town, heres how she does it

First the background - this taco joint http://www.surftaco.com/food/food_tacos.html rolled into town a few years ago, and their fish tacos were so good we set about trying to duplicate them. I think we finally nailed it. The secret is the sauce:

    Sauce:

    1 C mayo
    1/2 C milk
    1 tsp finely chopped garlic
    juice of 3 limes
    chopped fresh cilantro

Mix it all together and chill to blend flavors

    Tacos:

fried or grilled fish (mahi is my favorite)
    shredded cabbage
    pico de gallo salsa
    avacado
    soft tortillas

wrap it all up and enjoy

a great sauce in my opinion is the simplest one. I use sour cream, lime juice, crushed pepper, diced cilantro, and the best ingredient - Srirachi Chili Sauce. Just mix it up real good and wrap it up nice and tight
