    An alternate Cod recipe

There's nothing like a beer battered cod fillet dripping with tarter suace and a side of onion rings. But if your looking for a fast healthy alternative that takes 5 minutes prep and 5 minutes to cook AND is healthy for you, try this out!

Start with a half pound cod fillet, some bok choy (yes you can get this at the local store), some ginger root (thanks to Slip Slidn for the thought) and some scallions.

Cut some thin slices of the skinned ginger root, dice up your scallions and cut your bok into 1" pieces.

Lay your cod in the steamer, I just use an insert that fits in the top of a 8 quart pot.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper then lay your veggies on top.

Drip some spicey stir fry oil and soy sauce on top of the whole mess and cover up.

Steam for about about 6 minutes, make sure your boiling before you throw this together. A 1/2" fillet only takes about 6minutes so judge accordingly.

Pull your veggies out and plate with your fish and a lemon slice.

Not only delicious but just takes a few minutes to prep and cook and the whole batch has tons of protien, virtually no fat and less than 300 calories.
