WTF? They should have gotten to you fast.

They should be there tomorrow. Keep me updated. I have the extra set of flies if need be.

Mine arrived! I'm like a kid with his favorite bedtime story book... I keep asking my wife to describe them and read the recipes. Putting them on the desk with the electronic magnifier, if I get a day when my vision allows me to view them, I'll be trying to burn them into my memory! Thanks for making it fun guys, and thanks also for the kind words.

i thought i was gonna have to play the race card but i realize you are a pollock too so kinda negates that did you figure out the rod holder system i will try to get a pic of my proline pvc rod holder . if you have a sabre saw you can do them. you essentially cut them like a regular holder but put an extrea cut out on the one side. you actually turn the rods reel perpendicluar to the gunnel slide it in then let the reel drop domw to lock the rod in place. the rod will not move. hope all is well dave.. talk to ya

I was out in my carving shop on Monday afternoon sending white plastic all over the place. I broke the only cut off bit I had for my foredom, but did complete one holder.

I made one that has the same shape as the I fly. I'm going to mount it to a piece of starboard and try and get some more bits to make at least 2 more.

With a bungee to hold the rod tightly in the holder it should work.

I know what kind of holders you mean, They're next on tap.

the guide i use inflorida uses a duck boat.he has got a small area boxed off on the starboard side of the casting platform . he puts the rod tips in there and you never worry about breaking or hooking them.
