Spanish Mackerel and big blues
The water temperatures have warmed up to around 70 degrees at the Beaufort Inlet and Cape Lookout shoals. The Spanish mackerel have now showed up. Chartreuse and white Clousers and the Hamilton crystal Copperhead flies are working well on the Spanish. There have also been some 5 to 10 lb. blues on the Cape Lookout shoals. Topwater poppers have been working on the bluefish. The Atlantic boniot continue to do well areou the inshore artificial reefs. 300 gr. full sinking lines and large chartreuse and white and olive and white half and halfs are working well for the neeters.
