Polar Minnow Tying Video

Here's a new one. I thought the music was a nice touch, but not too sure anymore. Oh well.

The polar minnow is a great fly to have in the box. It's tied with synthetics that flow great in the water.

OneMoreCast taught me this tie, so the credit has to go to him. I only put the video together.

Enjoy.

What do you want to see in the future?

Anything that eats bait fish!!!

It's basically a peanut bunker. Stripers, blues, Weakies, mahis.

I'd be suprised if there's much out there that wouldn't eat it. The circle hook changes the strip strike. You just hold the line in your hand as the fish turns and pull gently to set the hook.

Dave, Nice job with the video. It should make it easy for anyone to make some of those for the season. I have some of that material around. Sort of out of sight out of mind. May have to get some of it out and make a few. Again, nice job.

Hey bro,
I think it looks great ..music was a nice touch.
This is a great fly for our area. Very durable, easy to tie, and a good imitation... it is also hard to snag. It isn't "snagproof" but it will avoid them better than most

Great job buddy

Looks like it would make a killer mangrove fly for snook and poons.
