I was messing around tonight tying some flies and I came up with this...
Any thoughts on how effective it would be as a red drum fly. It is tied with sculpin olive marabu and chenille, copper flash in the tail, and red rabbit zonker at the front. I know I tied the rabbit a bit too close to the hook eye. In fact, looking at the pictures I made a real mess of the head. Does anyone have any thoughts on this fly...Maybe different colored zonker strips at the front? Or maybe a completely different fly? Any comments are welcome. |

A cooperish or rust color instead of that red would look incredible.
