Dorymate, I tye them from #2 long shank to 2 ought 34007. anywhere in-between will work. The picture is a #1 340011 of a wobblers that I tie.

Dave, for me right now the later in March we can make it the better. Spring has spring and I am being pulled in every direction

. IE, I have a full plate, but I want to play...

By the way, you better get your but down here this year, there is a lot of different fish for us to harass...humm, think I will have to harass some Trout tomorrow if I get done with the office work soon enough...

Surf candy is fine by me. I'm sure a pup will eat a rain bait.

How bout we make them due by March 21st, but if they're late we won't shoot you.

anyone have any suggestions for drum flies? i have never tied any because we dot really fish for them here

March 21st sounds good. I'm still not sure what I'm going to tie though. I've never really fished for red drum.

any way maybe this will get you thinking about Red Drum Flys, and I will apologize for Seth, as he calls them Redfish...

in NC, I call them Red Drum as that is our state fish. Don't worry about Seth, he is an import...

I am tying a small gold spoon for this swap. Mine will be on a 34007 1/0 4X long hook. I think it will work just fine for stripers as well. Byrd has seen the first couple.
A couser minnow that imitates a crab or shrimp would work if you are deciding what to tie.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone makes.
