Fine by me. I'm gonna catch my first on the fly this year if it's the last thing I do.

Dorymate, that's a nice teaser fly. Don't know if it would qualify as a drum fly, but hope you still join the swap.

Sorry, Yeah I'm in. Don't fish redfish up here in the northeast but as I said before can tie anything needed.

How do we decide who ties what??

Dorymate-

It looks like there's 9 of us.

What you do is tie 8 flies and send them to Jake. You decide what pattern you want within the realm of "Redfish Flies".

You'll get 8 different flies in return from the other participants. Then it sounds like you'll have to head down to Wilmington and fish with Gottaflylee.

What's a good date for everyone?

Sent to Jake by March 14th?, 21st?

Just so I'm clear, what size hook would you guys use for these pups??

I tie a pretty mean duster surf candy, would that be sufficient?
Give me some suggestions, below is a pic of my surfcandy, that one is a little old, the epoxy is yellow and has been hanging upside down on a door jamb for a while but you get the idea.
