We are sharing info, right???

Here's the deal with Mahi. I'll find a rip, weedline...something and shut her down. I hang a chum bag off the bow & stern with chum that I make from those "tasty" kingfish and bonita no one wants, leftover bait from the previous trip...add some rice, a little dogfood and it goes in the blender to become a slurry. It get frozen in the GLAD plastic containers. Set those out and just drift along. Have something chunked up and toss a few handfuls to bring them up from the deep. They will appear out of nowhere and you will be COVERED up with them... remember, the bigger ones lay deeper. (ya gotta be in BLUE water, not green)

Pick one out, rollcast (nothing pretty or too difficult for the rookies) and strip fast, real fast. The faster the better as they compete for their food. Any streamer type fly works great.

One of the best tips tonight so far!!!
Jus to add a couple of more things to this, When the bite slows, change colors they will go off again...next when they get realy picky, go to your poppers! For me when chumming for them, keeping one on the line is not necessary.
