Thumbs up Delaware fishing license

After posting about a possible trip in my boat to fly fish from sand bars etc. in delaware, I got to thinking about license requirements.

Just got off the phone with DNREC and Enforcement.

My boat is licensed and anyone fishing from it is covered.
We can leave the boat and fish or clam from the sand bars etc. as long as we are in the area with the licensed boat.

Good news.

Joe

OK guys..
I can do Sunday 13th. How's that date work for everyone?
It's cool if that doesn't fit. We just need to start throwing some days out there so this will take off.
I can bring extra rods/lines/reels I have about 10,000 flies so no worries there either.. As far as the lines go, let me know if you would like to try a 450, 350, 250, 200, Int, Floating, or DC line.. do you want to do a water haul? I'm also a fairly experienced casting instructor so I'd be happy to get together wth everyone before/after/during fishing for a lesson. Hell, I'll bring my spey rod(s) if anyone is interested in that... lethal way to fish a beach.

OMC,
If i can get some help with my double haul (non-existent) I may just make the drive (despite to cost of gas) and come play. Not sure if I can convince Byrd to tag along but will ask.
Consider me a tentative but 13th looks good so far.

Sounds like a great time. I'll have to sit this one out though

OMC/Sikorski - I found some fish the other day in shallow water. It is time.
