Now that's downright fantastic.
A SIMPLE tie that brings fish to the net. A great fly for stripping in or dead drifting in current. You can't beat the action of a bunny! Thanks for sharing Lee. -D |

This is such and easy tie and if ites that effective, tis going to make a lot of things a whole lot more fun. Being that its so large of a pattern, how is it when casting?

I don't find it hard to throw at all. 8wt will do fine. With the length of the fly it will fowl every now and then but even fowled it will have good action and still catch fish.

cobia style
gottaflylee,
i have tied alot of these flies with weighted eyes which work great. I am thinking of tieing a few up for cobia fishing. Bigger hook and thinking of snelling in a second hook farther back. Any one out there tried to make one that is 8-10 inches long? jeremy |

Never tried it, but remember if you want to be IGFA legal a tandem hook rig can have no more than 6" between the eyes of the hooks.
