A perfect weather day. The inshore water was devoid of bites. There was a line which was far offshore. We ran to it and collected some nice gaffers. We were 42 miles out when we picked up.

Looks like a few more than gaffers on the dock there.![]()
The other fish are Amberjacks and False Albacore. The AJ's bite readily on the vertical jigs. On the light rods they pull pretty good.
Those are some fat albies on the right side of the dock shot. Thought that were blackfins or yellowfins.
