We found a slick in 500 fathoms of the Baltimore Canyon. A dead swordfish minus the head and tail was being eaten by a mako shark. Estimated weight of swordfish is 150 lbs. Estimated lenghth of shark is 10 feet. 300- 400lbs for shark??

We thought about it. But it wasn't a tournament and the shark was so magnificent a creature we had to settle for pictures. We caught two swordfish on our overnight. 47 inches and we released those.
