any pictures of the ASA fleet running the inlet and break water? The morning wind should have things chippy out there.

Cool Shots!

Great Shots, John. I wish we could of done this tournament, but we sponsored and fished in a tournament in the Chesapeake Bay. BTW, the fishing is hot down here, 51#, 50# and 49# fish were weighed this weekend. We weighed a 30 pounder, and released nine fish on Saturday 29"-42". Fishing was blown out on Sunday, 30 knot winds. We poked the nose out this morning, but it was totally unfishable.

We are looking forward to the Annapolis ASA next weekend. I hope some of the Northeast boats come down for some Chesapeake trolling. The bite is red hot right now.

John, will you be covering the Annapolis ASA event also?

Liberty Marina, in Edgewater, MD has approx. 30 slips all together for this event. It should be a good time. The run down the South River should be cool with all the go-fast boats in this tournament. Call them at (410) 266-5633 to reserve your slip. $1 per foot per day. Phone (410) 266-5633.

If anyone needs any help with hotels, local information, or gear, call me, I live and fish in Annapolis - for 15 years.

Yeah Alltackle, you guys should have a good tournament down there.
This tournaments always a tough one it's a little early for the big cows and the weathers usually squirrley
But in the next few weeks the Delaware Bay will be fired up with Cow Stripers and Black Drum
I'm know some of the Northeast teams will be down for the Annapolis tournament, but I'm not sure about trolling

Yes Chuck, I do remember previous years where most of the NE boats were live baiting. The hard part is getting the live menhaden. Nobody chunks down here like they do in the Delaware. I do not know why.

We should get our black drum bite in a few weeks. It looks like you guys had tough conditions this weekend, but everybody is saying good things about Off the Hook Tackle and Hinch Marina. I will try to get up there for some fishing this summer and I will stop by and introduce myself.

It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood today, it was FISH HARD or stay home and we fished hard.

Here were the conditions we were up against today. Full report later after nap time

Sorry for the quality of the photos, I used my phone and it doesn't come out the best.

Congrats to all that caught a fish!

Congrats to Anngler & Modsquad with the Junior award and Ken Zwirko with 2nd place!

See you all in Annapolis next weekend!

There was 40 something boats registered for the tourney and less than half fished today due to the conditions of fishing and the weather.

We had a little hail, a little rain and we did a little surfing on the way in!

It was gusting so hard coming thru the c**** a gust actually pushed the boat a little off course. Mother nature is powerful don't ever under estimate her.

Kudos to Ken Zwirko fishing his 21 Contender today!

That Delaware bay can get real nasty over the shoals. I give respect to the teams that did not fish today. The teams that did are hardcore and I feel your adrenalin. Congrats to the teams that battled the Delaware waters today. I can only imagine what you went through out there....thanks for the pics Lucky

Hey Mary,

Got your message this morning. Sorry I missed your call.

Glad to hear you're all safe, was a little worried for everyone as the day went on.

Good luck next weekend and I'm sure we'll see you soon.

Chuck & Mary,

I like to give you guys a special thank you for taking care of my crew this weekend with as always the freshest bait & tackle. We finished the tournament in 3rd place. Today was one of the roughest days I ever fished on the bay. At one point around 12:15 we actually had a hail and rain storm roll up on us.
