This will be my Jet Ski First

The Three Amigo's Extreme Jet Ski Fishing Team ( I just made that up ) will be fishing in our first Striped Bass Tournament this weekend. The 1st Annual Sunset Boating Center Striper Tournament Hampton Virginia (757)722-3325. Local legend Don Lancaster is going to be the Weighmaster. I obviously fish from my Yamaha a lot and this sounded like a fun and affordable one to do at only $75. I convinced my brother John and friend Tommy to dust off thier rigged out skis and join me. I know there are a lot of big tournaments this weekend and the weather actually looks doable for Saturday so I expect it to be crazy in the Bay and coast. Don't cross my lines or I will wake you! LOL. So who else is in this weekend? Here are a couple pics of our rigged up skis.

Brian, Thats awesome, Good Luck. How's the water temps down your way and do you use dry suits this time if year? Thats gotta be cold this time of year on a jet ski. Your ski's are really decked out nicely.

My friends from Wilmington (JMS and Squid on the board) were talking about getting one to share. They were thinking one of those Quad skis could hold them both and they could get Grunts and Pinkies out of their hiding places quick that way. I told them I thought it sounded a little crazy but after seeing this post...it looks pretty KOOL.
If you could advise whether or not you think it would be safe for the two of them I am sure Matt would appreciate it. Thanks for the post and pics.
Almost forgot....good luck in the tournament.

Thanks for the replies. Water temps are about 51 right now. I wear a mustang survival suit this time of year. It is not too bad fishing two on my ski because it is a four person and very stable. I have never been on a quad ski but they do look pretty big. I prefer just me on the the ski.
