Left Taylors a little after 8:30 am.... Headed to Plantation Light, nice ride at 35 mph... Just cruising along... Saw birds here and there, but wanted the HOGS, so we pushed on...
Arrived at our destination, put out our spread, started trolling North and Bam, FISH ON... BIG HEAD SHAKE, TAKING LINE... Really Excited... Louis is fighting the slob and he comes off... That's Fishing....
Lines back out... Winds are picking up from the South East, not supposed to do that until later in the day.... We continue to work our way farther North and the seas continue to GROW.... Hmmmm, maybe we should head back to the southside before it gets any rougher.... Pulled the lines in and started running south in 4'+ NASTY BREAKING SLOP, making 9 - 11 mph, #@$#...
See some birds off the 4th, so we make a turn, one bite, bluefish bite off... We are now on a search and destroy mission, heading South, fishing here and there all the way to the beach where we find a nice bite on SCHOOLIES, Louis casts up a few and releases quite a few, we trolled up a few and releases more... RIPPING CURRENT....
Called it at 3
