I still remember how you guys got the trip. Your wife(cathy) wrote a essay saying why she should get a trip for drum with brian. I am so glad you guys got it and had the chance to fish with one of the best captains around hands down.

Hope all is well with you and cathy and may you guys have a great 07" season

Actually, Cathy wrote an essay about how much she wanted the trip. I wrote an essay about how my life wouldn't be worth a plug nickel if I didn't win the trip and take her fishing. My essay won...

It was a great day of fishing with Extreme Measures - the Beast. And with our friend Marty along as support and videographer. Lots of great memories from that day.

Cathy and I are doing well. I am recovering from an auto accident on 3/30, and she just had a surprise birthday party for me last night to celebrate my 60th.... We are looking forward to a great inshore and offshore season this year...

i hope you are feeling better brian- i remember that picture of cathy and y'alls trip well. I am and have been patiently awaiting the drum myself. Although there are lots of great pix of large black ones I am somewhat more inclined to fish for their cousins!!- And it might be a tad early but I might even go soak some live crabs tomorrow evening- this is not my biggest red one by any means, but probably my favorite. It came from a sequence of 3. 12 ft of water on the shoals- see yall out there!! Drum em up !
