Talking Weekend striper report from the ChumStreak

This weekend was the No Bones Striper Tourney in Wildwood, one of my favorite tournies even though I haven't caught more than 6 fish in it in 3 years. This year I had a hometown crew. Biggest jack (my pop), my Brother in law Dr. Dave, my friend and owner of the 38 fountain we fished who graciously let our team name stay since my boat is out of service, chasin tail George and the ignorant asshole I am I forgot his friends name. The 5 of us set out to have fun and some dam nice fish got in the way.

G's buddy got his first striper a 39" 19.7lber the doc got a 20lber and G hinself popped a 20.2lber. I finally broke into the big fish with my personal best a touch over 41lbs and 49". We ended up with second heaviest beaten by a half a pound, what sucked is the fish we got was empty not even the half a bunker I used for bait it would have been nice if the critter loaded up before it choked on the hook

Sunday I went out with the police from Middletown Twp in Bucks County and we had a pretty good day. We had stripers up to 22.3 lbs and lost a 30+ on a straightened hook. The capt forgot to tell the mate to change one of the hooks out on the way to the grounds after talkin about it before the trip left the dock. So needless to say me and myslef had an argument on the way home in the car

    Thumbs up

Hey I had a sweat shirt on Man it felt good to set the hook and not have to hand it off to someone, G was the net man for me Lunchman owes biggest 41 suasage sandbitches delivered.

Mike and Fred put on a good show and Mike even kicked in the extra $$$$ because the prizes were based on 40 boats but only 36 entered. They would have kicked in 3 combos but someone forgot to return them, so the door prizes were short three combos
