SEA BASS fishing improved over the past weekend. We didn't have super catches, but picked away each day with some drops being better than others. High hook each day had between 15 and 20 SEA BASS while most anglers had between 6 and 12. The Sea Bass were nice sized with pool winners between 6 and 7 pounds on each trip. We also had COD, POLLOCK, and BLUES mixed in. Fishing should improve daily as the water temperatures drop.

Don't forget, thanks to our 'friends' at the National Marine Fisheries Service, the season ends when the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve. Because of this short season, trips are booking up fast So if you are interested in joining us, take a look at our Trip Calendar and pick a date soon. Last weekend's trips were all quite different. We picked at Sea Bass on the Thursday and Friday night trips with a mix of Cod and Pollock thrown in. On the Thursday night trip we had a good shot of Cod up to 25 pounds. On the Saturday night trip we had beautiful weather and saw a better catch of Sea Bass. Most of the Sea Bass were large to jumbo size. It was definitely an improvement over the prior days and weeks. We suspect that things are going to change for the better after today's big northwest blow. The main migration of fish hasn't really started yet because of the warm weather, but with cooler temperatures coming, the fish are going to start to move our way.
