Yesterday, we tried some stuff a bit further offshore than on our last trip. We had a handful of Cod and some Ling. All in all, it was not nearly as good as we had expected. We did snag a few Cod on jigs leading us to believe that they were off of the wrecks chasing the large schools of Herring that were around. Some fish even spit up a few herring on the deck. Archie Stewart of Nutley, NJ won the pool with a 12 pound Cod. Fishing should improve as we get further into the winter and the spring.

We know some folks were talking about fishing on Super Bowl Sunday. At the moment, the weather does not look great. Please check our Trip Calendar page after 6:00 PM the night before any of our open boat trips to see if we have canceled because of bad weather. We don't want people coming down to find the boat dark and no crew around. Please make sure you hit the refresh button on your browser.

We have changed our schedule around just a bit. The only dates for Block Island Trips are now February 11 and 18. We have changed the February 25 Block Island Trip to a Northeast Cod Wreck trip leaving at 11:00 PM. The fare for this trip is $150. If you were on the February 25 Block Island trip, you have the option of moving to another Block Island trip, going on the February 25 Wreck Trip, leaving your fare money on credit for a future trip, or requesting a refund. If you are interested in going on any trips or need to contact us, please e-mail us.

20-40 MILE COD TRIPS every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (weather permitting).
