    Virginia Beach striper report

well we found em and put a hurting on em today man...we left Rudee at around 0800 with Dave Trax at the helm, his brother Brian, Glenn (persistance) and myself rouding out the crew....based on a tip we went south to to around False cape and found a few boats fishing....tons of bait, fish and birds...looked like striper season again...we put a spread out and commenced to whoop some striper ass....boated our limit of 8 by around 1245but Dave Trax does not stop there...we probably released around another 8 - 10 big fish....Glenn got a 45 1/2" release citation...all fish were between 25 - 36 pounds that we kept...nice class of fish.....they're here !......Bob

Nice fish Bod and Glenn. Especially nice pics. I plan on running out of Rudee this weekend. How far a run south is False Cape? Plus could you give a little hint on lures you were using? --some Stretches and Umbrella rigs?

    thanks
