We've got a boat out today that headed up to the bay to do Flounder fishing. We'll keep you updated as they return..

Right now is a slower time at the marina since most families aren't taking vacations yet. However, this is a great time of year since in the inlet the puppy drum, and speckled trout are hitting pretty nicely. Over at the CBBT there have been some REALLY nice flounder caught. The flounder have mostly been above keeper size which means that boats are heading out there and getting their limits or close too! The sizes are all roughly in the 20" range, which is a great size for the early flounder. Other fishing right now are the bluefish that are hanging around the tower, and of course the head boats going after tilefish, bluefish, black sea bass, and grouper.

Spades should be here within the next few weeks, and then right after that the dolphin, tuna, then marlin and wahoo! We are more than ready for the warmer weather and we know the Captains are going stir crazy with this windy weather as well!

Continually check back to see how the fishing is going.
