left Lynnhaven around 11:00 and since it appeared that the great white fleet was fishing as far as the eyes could see from the Lesner bridge that we would soak some eels over off Cape Henry and away from the bigger part of the fleet. Lots of marks and lots of dogfish later we said time to move and noticing a few boats picking up and hauling ass to the 4A , we decided to do the same. Again found some nice marks but no-one was home and we didnt see a fish caught. so we decided troll back to our original stopping point off of CH and along the way a suicidal 38" rockfish grabbed a 4" chartuese tomic and the skunk was out of the boat. Heard on the radio, that there were a few here and there being caught back at CH so we picked up and ran back and managed another 30" on a chartuese mojo. trolled a little while longer and picked em up and ran home around 4:15. between mikes bad knee and my aching back we may or may not give it another shot again tomorrow. most of our better marks were in shallower water today between 40 ft and 25 ft, with our fish coming in 30 ft of water. My water temp gage was showing 79° today. looking for mahi on the weed lines - nice seeing and talking to some of you guys out there today. peace
