Fished this 2 day tourney out of Pt Pleasent on my boat with my bow monkey LAB, and Victors cousin Orlando AKA Balki AKA The Latin King.....

The tourney had 2 catagories... a big fish and a seperate calcutta for a 3 fish total weight for your 3 best for the weekend..

Saturday ran to the north in really crappy hard NE wind taking forever to get to the Red Church area... We bucktailed rough bottom all day, beginning with 8oz and ending with 3oz as the current and wind curtailed. Not a great bite but we scratched out around 15 keepers to 5.3#. We weighed in @ Crystal Point and our Saturday aggregate weight was around 14#.. not a big deal but it was a start...

Sunday again ran north with a following sea in a hard south wind and storms all around us... XM weather and the nexrad was a HUGE help as the big heavy stuff showed way south by AC.... fished in rain most of the morning with a fast drift again using 8ozs .... seas eventually laid down enough to get a 4oz to stay down....

The Latin King dropped 2 huge fish back to back and we thought that was it boat missed.... fourtunately i was able to box a 7+ and LAB nailed an 8 which combined with my 5+ from Saturday gave us the 3 fish calcutta win , with mikes 8 also taking 3rd in the over all big fish slot... 9.4 was the winner..... a 3 man limit and a Good haul of doe again for the boyz..... and great laughs with my crew as always
