Tide Runner Fishing Report May 12 - 14

Fly and light tackle fishing has been excellent. Inlet area with the new moon strong tides has had stripers, blues, and sea herring feeding like hungry wolves on the incoming tide. Most of the stripers are schoolie size to thirty inches, but for those with limited fly casting skills it has been a great opportunity to get the feel of it and improve their skills. Have been going through a number of flies, as the blues have been doing a job on them. Here is a shot of a guy fishing from the jetty were we were getting them from the boat.

Back bay on the high tide has warmed up enought to be able to get bass on popping plugs and flies, but with low tides at dusk and dawn, just have to wait till next week when the tides will be good for that.
