It was a typical week on the Bay with the reports changing day to day.

8/29
Lewis Patrick using Berkley Gulp Shrimp and Shedders returned with 2 keeper flounder up to 22”, 6 Blues and 1 Weakie starting at the 6buoy and moving between the 32 and 34 buoy.

8/31
Bill Penn and his wife fishing at the 6 Buoy returned with 10 Blues and 2 keeper Weakfish.

Bill Simmerman and Larry Jordon fishing on Bill’s new Dusky had 13 weakfish but all were short.

Saturday was sloppy on the bay and while there were fish no keepers were reported.

Perch fishing remained steady towards the end of the week with Bloodworms being the choice bait this week and crabbing started to pick up again after a shutdown last Sunday

Capt. Mike on “the Other Woman” was back at his favorite spot and again returned with 6 keeper weakies some croakers and bluefish using Shedders at the #6 buoy.

A quick offshore report, Capt. Eric on the “O’Beth” ran out to the Lindencole Canyon on Wednesday into Thursday with Joey, John, Scott and Mike (me) and returned with a 110’lb. Mako, 2 Yellowfin and a Longfin Tuna. It was like driving up to AC with over 30 boats working the area 87 Miles offshore. Tony Deacon and his crew on the “SallyAnn” boated a 250 lb Bigeye and some Yellowfin Tuna in the same area.

We have Bloodworms, Shedders, Minnows and frozen baits and we are open at 6 am for boat rentals, bait, gas and all your boating and fishing supplies.
