Another good day on the Sun Daze. Trolling the lumps was the call.
The run out was beautiful striper weather. Little rainy, little foggy, and aboslutly no wind or swell at all. Hit one of my favorite lumps first with the ganetts and gulls banging the water heavily. Lines in and whammo within the first five mins the tandem bucktail rig goes off with a heavy heavy load. While my dad is bringing that one in one of the stretch 25's goes off. 10 mins later we deck the one on the stretch and 2 30" fish on the tandem rig. OMG it is going to be off the hook. The rest of the day was on fire. Ended up banging out 50 by noon and filling the fish box with meat. God I love striper fishing in December!!!!!
