Things started out a little slow for us this season but the action has picked up each trip out. That's a good thing! There is plenty of bait in the water so things will continue to come to a boil. The one thing I'd like to see is the water temp drop down. On 11/9's trip the temp was 57.5. I would like to see it in the lower 50's at this point of the season. If the temp drops I think the BASS would go bonkers on the bait that is in the water and be on a feeding frenzy. Don't put your hand in the water. The action has been good but it could be better.
The action we have had has been spread all around the rips for the most part. We have caught fish on some of the offshore rips as well as the near shore rips. There has been a real nice bite near shore on several days that has produced some good action for us.Mixed in with this action we have caught shorts and tweeners. We have boxed fish in the 25" to 27" range and we have caught fish from 34" to our biggest so far at 38". The great thing is the best part of STRIPER season is still to come. BRING IT ON!!
Nice fish, you got to love this time of the year. Nice fish and a lot of excitement cause you never know if one of the super big ones will come along. Seems like the rest of the season should be good.
