Things started out a little slow for us this season but the action has picked up each trip out. That's a good thing! There is plenty of bait in the water so things will continue to come to a boil. The one thing I'd like to see is the water temp drop down. On 11/9's trip the temp was 57.5. I would like to see it in the low 50's at this point of the season. If the temp drops I think the Bass would go into a feeding frenzy with so much bait around.


The action has been spread all around the rips for the most part. We have had fish on some of the near shore rips and we have caught BASS on the offshore rips. There has been a real nice bite on some days on one or two of the inshore rips that has produced some good action for us. Mixed in with this action we have caught shorts and tweenes. We have boxed fish in the 25" to 27" range and we have gotten fish from 34" to our biggest so far at 38" Just think, the best part of the season is still to come. Bring it on!!
