    Striper Report Rudee Inlet

    I towed my jet ski to Owls Creek boat ramp in Rudee Inlet at Virginia Beach Virginia. It was 30 degrees when I departed the inlet at 1130 hrs. I ran around for a while and finally saw some marks on the finder about 2 1/2 miles off of the Ramada.
    Two hours of trolling later I had two 32 inch Stripers, both were caught on a red and white stretch 30. Back at the Ramp around 1445hrs. Had a good time trying to clean everything up as it was freezing.
    I was very comfortable with a dry suit and survival suit on and seas at only 2-3 feet. I only saw two other boats out. Here are some pictures from today;

    Nice pics. Those birds in pic #5 are on my most wanted list. They laid siege to my boat (at Rudee) and turned it into a toxic waste site of bird ****. I'm bringing a gun next time I go down there!

    tie yellow caution tape to your rails and t top if you have one.we do this in costa rica.for some reason the birds don't care for yellow.works great for keeping the toxic dump off your boat.

    Wide open fishing today

    It's a little rough but the fishing is off the hook, right out front today, just like yesterday.

    Good luck !
