    STRIPER REPORT CM NJ

Well, I have completed the last of my striper trips for the 2005 season. We ended on a good note on each of the trips. On each trip we had action. The action was streaky. When it was good, it was very good. When the bite stopped, the hunt for the fish was on, then it would get good again. We had Bass up the beach as well as on the off shore rips. Many of the fish we got to the boat were shorts. We had some slot fish and some tweeners ( 28" to 33"+ ) a few were 34" or better.

When we were fishing up the beach we got most of the Bass on bucktails. Some we got on metal. In the rips all Bass were caught on bucktails. This is my favorite way to catch STRIPERS.

So as I write this report FISH TALE is up on blocks resting and she earned it. The 2005 fishing season was very good. I am thinking about the 2006 season already. It will start in just 3 1/2 to 4 short months. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I would like to thank all of you that have fished with me in 2005. I am looking forward to fishing with you all again in 2006.

Also I would like to thank John ( Admin ) for a great site, and allowing me to post my fishing reports. THANKS MAN!!

Last I hope all of you have a great HOLIDAY SEASON and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I'll BE SEEING YOU ALL AROUND THE BOARD.
